On Port BOL Inquiry Help

The “On Port BOL Inquiry” displays data about containers that are sitting on the port or are scheduled to be received from a vessel for a Bill of Lading.  It is useful for determining what containers remain to be delivered on a Bill of Lading and whether or not they are in a deliverable state.  You must supply the following pieces of information to perform the inquiry:

-         Steamship Line from a dropdown list

-         Bill of Lading number

The Bill of Lading inquiry first checks to see if the BOL entered has on port containers or scheduled containers.  If not, an error message will be displayed.  If a valid BOL is entered, the inquiry results will be displayed.  The following information will be displayed for those containers currently sitting on a NC Ports terminal:

-         Vessel and Voyage

-         Container

-         Terminal

-         When received

-         Current on port status

-         Yard location

-         Deliverable status

-

The following information will be displayed for those containers scheduled for the BOL, but not yet received in loaded on a terminal:

-     Vessel and Voyage

-     Vessel ETA

-     Container

-     Terminal

-     Planned Yard Location

-     Deliverable Status
